Abstract
Svrha ovog rada je detaljnije upoznavanje fenomena elektromagnetskih valova kroz proučavanje njegovih karakteristika. U uvodnom dijelu rada, radi se o Coulombovom zakonu kao uvod, nakon čega rad prelazi na dvije osnovne komponente elektromagnetskog vala – električno i magnetsko polje. Opisano je značenje električnog i magnetskog polja kroz osnovne parametre i zakone koji karakteriziraju svako polje. U drugom dijelu rada bavimo se karakteristikama elektromagnetskih valova. Maxwellovim jednadžbama je opisan međuodnos električnih i magnetskih polja. Te na kraju, rad opisuje propagaciju radiovalova i utjecaj atmosfere i prepreka na njihovo propagiranje.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this paper is understand the phenomenon of electromagnetic waves in more detail through studying of its characteristics. In the introductory part of the paper, Coulomb's law is an introductory part, after which the paper proceeds to work on two basic components of the electromagnetic wave - electric and magnetic field. The meaning of electric and magnetic field is described through the basic parameters and laws that characterize each field. In the second part of the paper we deal with the characteristics of electromagnetic waves. Maxwell's equations describe the relationship between electric and magnetic fields. Finally, the paper describes the propagation of radio waves and the influence of the atmosphere and obstacles on their propagation.
