Abstract
Automatizacija na brodovima već postoji, ali složenost brodova stvara veliki izazov implementacije potpune automatizacije na brodovima. Glavni razlog zbog kojih su autonomni sustavi u stalnom razvoju su zato da bi se poboljšala sigurnost i smanjili troškovi. Brodarsko poslovanje stalno pokušava uvesti nove inovativne načine koji će im smanjiti troškove. Kako brodska industrija kontinuirano raste za njom slijedi i potražnja pomoraca, koja će u ovom desetljeću početi doživljavati pad, jer autonomija polako zamjenjuje potrebu za raznim pomorskim zanimanjima, stoga će dizajn obalnog kontrolnog centra biti jedan od glavnih izazova pošto će se od tamo kontrolirati autonomni brodovi. Kako bi autonomni brodovi kojima upravlja čovjek bili sigurni, ljudske pogreške se moraju smanjiti što je više moguće.
Abstract (english)
Automation on ships already exists, but the complexity of ships creates a major challenge of implementing full automation on ships. The main reason why autonomous systems are in constant development are therefore to improve security and reduce costs. Shipping business is constantly trying to introduce new innovative ways to reduce costs. As the shipbuilding industry continues to grow, the demand for seafarers is underway, which will begin to decline in this decade, as autonomy slowly replaces the need for a variety of maritime professions, so the design of the Port Control Centre will be one of the major challenges since it will be controlled by autonomous ships. In order for the manned autonomous ships to be safe, human errors must be reduced as much as possible.
