Abstract
Dizajn multimodalne transportne mreže veoma je kompleksan i dugotrajan proces. Poznavanje vrsta i obilježja transportnih mreža, korištenje osnovne formulacije te primjena hijerarhijskog pristupa njezinom dizajnu, pri tome uzimajući u obzir prostorne strukture, moguće je stvoriti integriranu i funkcionalnu prometnu mrežu. Takav projekt potreban je Republici Hrvatskoj kako bi postala konkurentnija, iskoristila svoj geoprometni potencijal te se priključila europskoj prometnoj mreži.
Abstract (english)
The design of multimodal transport networks is a very complex and long-lasting process. Knowledge of types and characteristics of transport networks, the use of basic formulations and implementation of a hierarchical approach to the design, while taking into account the spatial structure, it is possible to create an integrated and functional transport network. Such a project is needed for the Republic of Croatia to become more competitive, take advantage of its geographical potential and to join the European transport network.
