Abstract
Onečišćenje mora i morskog okoliša veliki je problem čitave Europe, jer onečišćenjem mora i morskog okoliša pada produktivnost mora i uništavaju se ekosustavi, što dovodi do pada gospodarskih grana povezanih s iskorištavanjem morskih resursa. U cilju očuvanja naših mora i oceana, Europska unija donijela je niz mjera pomoću kojih želi ostvariti dobro stanje okoliša do 2020. godine. Ključna mjera za ostvarivanje cilja je Okvirna direktiva o pomorskoj strategiji, koja čitavim nizom složenih akcija želi postići i održati stanje zdravog, produktivnog i čistog mora i morskog okoliša. Direktiva zahtijeva zajedničku suradnju svih grana gospodarstva, institucija, ali i građana, a sastoji se od pripremnih i akcijskih programa te programa mjera. Da bi se dobro stanje okoliša postiglo, osim pridržavanja mjera, najvažnije je prenijeti znanje i educirati građane te na taj način podignuti svijest o problemima koji nam prijete ne kao pojedincu, već kao čitavoj zajednici.
Abstract (english)
Pollution of the sea and the marine environment is a major problem throughout Europe, as pollution of the sea and the marine environment reduces the productivity of the sea and destroys ecosystems, leading to a decline in industries connected to the exploitation of marine resources. In order to preserve our seas and oceans, the European Union has adopted a series of measures to help achieve good environmental status by 2020. A key measure to achieve this is the Marine Strategy Framework Directive, which seeks to achieve and maintain a healthy, productive and clean sea and marine environment through a series of complex actions. The Directive requires the joint cooperation of all sectors of the economy, institutions and citizens, and it consists of preparatory and action programs and programs of measures. In order to achieve good environmental status, it is important to impart knowledge and educate citizens and in that way raise awareness of the problems that threaten us not as an individual but as a whole community.
