Abstract
Sigurnost na prometnicama postala je jedna od glavnih okupacija suvremenog svijeta gdje se dao veliki naglasak kako na sigurnost samog vozača i suputnika tako i okruženja u kome se nalaze ostala vozila, pješaci, infrastruktura, itd. Veliki postotak vozila koja se danas mogu susresti na prometnicama ostvarila su visoku ocjenu na testovima sigurnosti, a sustavi poput ABS-a, EBA-a i ESP-a, postali su dio standardne opreme vozila. Razvoj upravljačkih jedinica i senzora omogućio je široku primjenu osnovnih elektroničkih sustava za izbjegavanje nesreća. Prvi inteligentni protusudarni sustav ugrađen u vozilo, koji je najavio prekretnicu u pogledu sigurnosti vozila i ostalih sudionika u prometu je sustav protiv blokiranja kotača (ABS). Nakon njega slijedio je drugi najznačajniji sustav a to je program elektroničke stabilnosti ili ESP. U posljednjih nekoliko godina, razvijeni su i napredni sustavi pomoći vozaču pomoću kojih se izbjegava nastanak nesreća, te unaprjeđuje udobnost i kvaliteta transporta.
Abstract (english)
Road safety has become one of the major occupations of the modern world, where great emphasis has been placed on the safety of the driver and other participants, as well as the environment in which other vehicles, pedestrians, infrastructure, can be found. A large percentage of vehicles currently encountered on the roads, have a high rating on safety tests, and systems like ABS, EBA and ESP have become part of standard vehicle equipment. The development of control units and sensors has enabled wide application of electronic systems for accident prevention. The first intelligent anti-collision system built into the vehicle, which announced a milestone in terms of vehicle safety and other traffic participants, is the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), followed by the second most important system, which is the Electronic Stability Program or ESP. In recent years, more advanced assistance systems have been developed to avoid accidents and improve the comfort and quality of transport.
