Abstract
U radu su opisani sustavi kojima se regulira usmjeravanje pomorske plovidbe. Opisuje se važnost regulacije pomorskog prometa i na koje se sve načine postiže standard za sigurnu plovidbu na moru. Povijesni razvoj usmjeravanja plovidbe dokazuje napredak u smanjenju broja sudara i nasukanja. Prikazano je na koji način sustavi usmjerene plovidbe navode brodove kroz područja koja su opasna za plovidbu i područja velike gustoće prometa. Opisana je struktura obalne službe za nadzor pomorskog prometa i na koje načine može regulirati pomorski promet. Prikazana su i navigacijska pomagala koja se koriste u svrhu usmjeravanja plovidbe.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the systems that regulate vessel traffic management. The importance of regulation of maritime transport is described and in what ways the standard for safe navigation at sea are achieved. The historical development of navigation routing proves progress in reducing the number of collisions and strands. It shows how traffic separation schemes guide ships through areas that are hazardous to navigation and high traffic areas. The structure of the Vessel Traffic Service is described and how it can regulate maritime traffic. Also shown are navigation aids used to guide navigation.
