Abstract
U ovom radu govori se o ultrazvučnom mjeraču udaljenosti. Kroz primjere koji su jasno opisani u radu, dobit će se slika na koji način ovakav mjerač mjeri udaljenost u slatkoj ili slanoj vodi, ali i u drugim medijima, kada je potrebno. Tehnologija ultrazvučnog mjerenja uvelike je uznapredovala i nudi niz različitih ultrazvučnih mjerača koji (neki više, neki manje) vrše precizna mjerenja, u odnosu na sve čimbenike koji su prisutni pri samom mjerenju. Ova vrsta mjerenja od velike je važnosti pogotovo u pomorstvu kako bi se na vrijeme detektiralo eventualne prepreke i osiguralo nesmetanu i sigurnu plovidbu.
