Abstract
Cilj znanstveno istraživačkog rada je predstaviti pomorski sustav Radar, termalne kamere te nove, modernije sustave kao što su radari u kombinaciji s termalnim kamerama. Detaljno će biti objašnjeni principi rada svakog sustava, korištenje, primjena te kratka povijest. Jedan dio predstavljenih sustava, godinama su već u upotrebi kako u pomorskom tako u zrakoplovnom prometu dok će se novije inačice takvih sustava tek početi koristit. Kroz rad će jasno biti navedeno koja su poboljšanja i zašto je toliko važno za pomorski promet.
Abstract (english)
The objective of scientific research is to present a maritime system RADAR, thermal cameras, and new modern systems, such as radar equipment combined with thermal cameras. The principles of the work of each system, use, application and short history will be explained in detail. One part of presented system has been in use for years both in maritime and aviation, while more recent versions of such system will only begin to be used. The work will clearly identify the improvements and why it is so important for maritime transport.
