Abstract
Novija i modernija luka privlači veće brodove, a samim time i više gostiju i putnika.

Croatia is a country where tourism is one of the most important factors of economic development. For tourism in the country are important sea passengers port snd their development. Investment in the port is investment in bringing new passengers, be they sailors visiting the port in their own boats, tourists who uses maritime passenger transport for arrival destination or passenger with cruise ship. Newer and more modern port attracts larger ship, and therefore more guests and passengers. Howewer, investment in the port and construction of a new seaport is very expensive investment and it needs support and assistance of country or investors in that port. Good offer on the market is the key of bringing the boats in the port and because of that it's important to improve the offer and attracts tourist and ships. Trend of increasing the number of passengers on the cruise was reflected on Croatia, especially on city of Dubrovnik, which is most visited by cruisers. In the regular transport seaport Split is the biggest port in Croatia by nuber of passengers. Nautic ports, especially marinas, are getting more modernized and its trying to meet the requirements of sailors. Future of Croatian passenger traffic and seaports is bright and its expecting the arrival of more passengers and vehicles in linear traffic, and tourists on cruisers and sailors in marinas.
