Abstract
Automatizacijom prometa olakšava se upravljanje prometom te povećava efikasnost, smanjuju troškovi te ispuštanje emisije CO. Uporaba i instalacija inteligentnih transportnih sustava u transportni sustav moguća je nadopunom postojećih sustava ili zamjenom zastarjelih sustava. Da bi se postiglo učinkovito upravljanje prometom, neophodno je konstantno stvarnovremensko ažuriranje podataka, te stalnim analizama raditi na poboljšanju sustava i sl. Sigurnost i efikasnost prometa, te bolja protočnost prometa i smanjenje emisije CO glavne su odrednice inteligentnih transportnih sustava. Na ostvarenje tih odrednica utječe velik broj različitih čimbenika.

Traffic automatization does not only ease the traffic management and increases the efficiency of it, it also reduces costs and release of CO emissions. Supplementing existing systems or replacing outdated systems makes application and installation of inteligent transport systems posssible. It's necessary to constantly update information in real time and to do constant analysis for system improvment in order to achieve effecient traffic managment. Most important guidelines of inteligent traffic systems are safety and traffic efficeincy also as better traffic flow and reducing CO emissions. Realization of these guidelines is affected with a large number of different factors.
