Abstract
Ovim radom analizirati će se razvoj kontejnerskih brodova kroz povijest, njihova tehničkotehnološka obilježja kao i razvoj kontejnerskog brodarstva. Iako revolucionarni za ekonomiju, prijevoz robe i općenito tržište, kontejnersko brodarstvo predstavlja i niz izazova u sigurnosnom segmentu te će se kroz rad detaljno obraditi najveće nesreće kontejnerskih brodova Dali, Ever Given, Maersk Honam i MSC Zoe. Iako s katastrofalnim posljedicama iz nesreća je proizašlo i nešto pozitivno, a to su povećanje sigurnosnih standarda i revidiranje brojnih pomorskih propisa. Kroz rad opisati će se i uloga automatizacije sustava i umjetne inteligencije koja bi već danas, ali i u budućnosti mogla osigurati bolju sigurnost i održivost kontejnerskog brodarstva.
Abstract (english)
This paper will analyze the development of container ships throughout history, their technical and technological features, as well as the development of container shipping. Although revolutionary for the economy, the transport of goods and the general market, container shipping also presents a series of challenges in the safety segment, and the work will deal in detail with the biggest accidents of the container ships Dali, Ever Given, Maersk Honam and MSC Zoe. Although with catastrophic consequences, something positive came out of the accidents, namely the increase of safety standards and the revision of numerous maritime regulations. The work will also describe the role of system automation and artificial intelligence, which could ensure better safety and sustainability of container shipping already today, but also in the future.
