Abstract
U ovome radu osvrnuti ću se na korištenje pametnih tehnologija u planiranju, organizaciji i funkcioniranju modernih kontejnerskih terminala, a sa svrhom postizanja veće konkurentnosti na tržištu. Moderni kontejnerski terminali funkcioniraju u natjecateljski nastrojenom i dinamičnom poslovnom okruženju. Korištenje novih tehnologija u planiranju, organizaciji i upravljanju kontejnerskim terminalima, što je konsenzus najvećih svjetskih brodarskih tvrtki, omogućilo je kontinuirani porast kapaciteta za prijevoz tereta i razvoj kontejnerskih terminala i prometa. Pametne tehnologije i informacijskih sustavi omogućavaju kvalitetnije organiziranje kontejnerskih terminala s ciljem optimalnog povezivanja svih sudionika unutar lučkog sustava i dobavnog lanca. U ovom se radu pojašnjava važnost i uloga pametnih tehnologija za razvoj informacijskih sustava upravljanja kontejnerskim terminalima, a u funkciji povećanja kvalitete i konkurentnosti cjelokupne usluge. Unutar ovog završnog rada obrađena je i povijest i razvoja kontejnerskog prometa, značajke kontejnerskog prometa te prikaz usporednog razvoja informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija na kontejnerskim terminalima.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, I will discuss the use of smart technologies in the planning, organization, and operation of modern container terminals, with the aim of achieving greater market competitiveness. Modern container terminals function in an extremely competitive and dynamic business environment, and the joint consensus of the world's most successful shipping companies has led to continues growth of traffic in container terminals, resulting in further supply chain growth and optimization. The solution backing up such progress is using modern technologies in planning, developing, and organizing container terminals. More efficient planning utilizing modern informatic technologies is enabling constant optimization of roles and functions inside the supply chain. This paper shows the importance of using smart technologies in order to optimise the efficiency and quality of transport service on container terminals. In this paper i will analyse the development of container transport, key aspects of container transporation and the development of informatic technologies used in container terminals.
