Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu će autor obraditi korištenje energije plime i oseke. Tema rada je pretvorba energije plime i oseke, taj sustav je relativno nov u energetskim sustavima, te će se u radu pokušati omogućiti čitateljima uvid kako se danas od plime i oseke može iskoristiti njihovo djelovanje u obnovljivu energiju. Samo iskorištavanje plime i oseke je relativno slabo istraženo, a i svijet broji mali broj elektrana na plimu i oseku. Najpoznatija i najstarija elektrana na plimu i oseku se nalazi u Francuskoj, točnije je smještena u blizini St. Maloa. Elektrana koristi 24 komada 10 megavatnih turbinskih generatora cjevastog tipa. Na tom području, plima i oseka dosežu i više od 14 metara, što je i potrebno da bi se mogla iskorištavati energija plime i oseke.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis the author will elaborate the use of tidal energy. Thesis topic is tidal energy conversion. The system is relatively new in the energy systems and it will be described how to take advantage of nowdays tide activities into renewable energy. The use of tides is poorly explored and there are small number of tidal power plants in the world. The most famous and the oldest power plant is located in France, close to St. Malo. The power plant uses 24 pieces of 10 megawatt tubular turbine generator. In that area, the tides reach more than 14 meters, which is crucial for tidal energy exploatation.
