Abstract
Tema ovoga diplomskog rada su harmonička izobličenja napona i struje u brodskim elektroenergetskim sustavima kao posljedica utjecaja nelinearnih trošila, prije svega propulzijskih pretvarača. Opisani su izvori harmonika i načini nastanka harmoničkih izobličenja te je definiran pojam viših harmonika. U svrhu analize harmoničkih izobličenja te metoda za njihovo smanjenje razvijen je simulacijski model u programskom paketu Matlab/Simulink. Simulacije su provedene u vremenskoj i frekvencijskoj domeni. Analiziran je utjecaj harmonika na kvalitetu električne energije s obzirom na maksimalne dopuštene vrijednosti koje su propisane od službenih klasifikacijskih društava. Analizirane su sljedeće metode za poništavanje viših harmonika: povećanje serijskog induktiviteta, primjena fazno pomaknutih transformatora, pasivni harmonički filtri i aktivni harmonički filtri.

Parallel abstract (English)
Main topic of this thesis are voltage and current harmonic distortions in marine electrical power systems, as a result of non-linear loads, primarily propulsion converters. Harmonic sources and related distortions are defined and described. In order to analyze the harmonic distortion, and methods for their reduction, a simulation model in MATLAB/Simulink is developed. The simulations were performed in the time and frequency domain. The influence of harmonics on electrical power quality, considering the maximum permissible by the official classification societies is analyzed. The following methods for harmonic distortion reduction are analyzed: increase of the serial inductance, application of phase shifted transformers, passive harmonic filters and active harmonic filters.
