Abstract
Predmet istraživanja ovog rada je onečišćenje zraka emisijama ispušnih plinova s brodova. Brodski motor je jedan od onečišćivača zraka emisijama ispušnih plinova, pa se štetne emisije pokušavaju ograničiti s međunarodnim konvencijama i nacionalnim propisima o kojima će u daljnjem istraživanju biti više riječi. Bitni pomaci u odredbama koje ograničavaju emisije štetnih plinova donesene su u MARPOL 73/78 konvenciji, u Prilogu VI. Postoje mnoga tehnička rješenja koja reduciraju emisije ispušnih plinova kao što su pročistači, sustav selektivne katalitičke redukcije i dr. U radu je prikazan kratki povijesni presjek politike zaštite okoliša s posebnim naglaskom na očuvanje morskog okoliša kroz razne međunarodne konvencije i nacionalne propise, navedeni su pravni aspekti onečišćenja atmosfere ispušnim plinovima s brodova, te metode za njihovo smanjivanje.
Abstract (english)
The subject of researching is air pollution by the emission of exhaust gases from ships. Marine engine is one of the polluter of air so that harmful emissions try to limit with international conventions and national regulations about which further research will be more words. Essential moves in the regulations which limit emission of the exhaust gases were adopted in Marpol convention, Annex VI. It exists many technical solutions which reduces emission of the exhaust gases such as scrubbers, system of selective catalytic reduction etc. In the labor will be shown short historical section about environmental politics who deals with preservation of maritime environmental through different international conventions and national regulations, it will be spoken about legal aspects of air pollution by exhaust gases from ships and about methods for their decreasing.
