Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
Energy sources and transportation have always had a significant role in the creation of maritime and transport areas. Also, energy efficiency affects a certain level of competitiveness of the market in order to achieve priority goals. Inefficient use of resources, outdated technology and poor equipment technology have resulted in dissatisfaction of the people who live in the European Union. In order to reduce the high costs and greenhouse gas emissions, and improve energy efficiency, the EU conventional energy sources have been gradually replaced with alternative energy sources. Alternative sources of energy have a great potential to make full use in the future. For the advancement of energy and transport sectors, individual projects which affect the implementation of maritime and transport policy have been made. This paper explores the actions of giving projects such as LIFE+, Marco Polo II and the ˝20-20-20˝ project, the results of their performance, and their potential in the future.
