Abstract
Kemijska industrija i masovna proizvodnja kemikalija počele su kroz intenzivan rast diktirati pravila u domeni proizvodnje i prijevoza. Opasne tvari definiraju se zakonima i sporazumima na međunarodnoj razini, a temeljna podjela opasnih kemikalija na području Republike Hrvatske utvrđena je posebnim zakonima. Zbog neupitne opasnosti koju one predstavljaju, posebna pažnja se pridaje kemijskoj sigurnosti te se teži tome da nacionalni sustav kemijske sigurnosti bude usuglašen s praksom na globalnoj razini. Pri tome se obraća pozornost na razvrstavanje, pakiranje i označavanje opasnih kemikalija te na način njihova transporta. Kopneni prijevoz opasnih kemikalija obavlja se putem cesta i željeznica pod velikim oprezom i uz strogo primjenjivanje propisanih normi. SWOT analiza prikazuje da je potencijal prijevoza kemikalija željeznicom veći nego prijevoz istih cestom.
Abstract (english)
The chemical industry and mass production of chemicals began to dictate rules in the domain of production and transportation through intense growth. Dangerous substances are defined by laws and agreements at the international level, and the basic division of hazardous chemicals in the territory of the Republic of Croatia is laid down in specific laws. Due to the unprecedented dangers they pose, special attention is paid to chemical safety and strives to align the national chemical safety system with global practice. Attention is drawn to the classification, packaging and labeling of hazardous chemicals and the way they are transported. Land transport of hazardous chemicals is carried out by roads and railways under extreme caution and with the strict application of prescribed standards. The SWOT analysis shows that the potential of transporting chemicals by rail is greater than transporting the same by road.
