Abstract
Inteligentni transportni sustavi bili su predmet ovoga rada. Nakon definiranja problematike, predmeta i objekta istraživanja, prešlo se na postavljanje hipoteze te na određivanje svrhe i cilja istraživanja. Kada su se prikupili materijali, moglo se odrediti koje će se znanstvene metode u radu koristiti. Kod definiranja osnovnih karakteristika inteligentnih transportnih sustava definirat će se pojam ITS-a, veza prometa i transporta te će se prikazati taksonomija i normizacija ITS-a. Nakon toga, ukazat će se na važnost inteligentnih transportnih sustava, tj. što znači njihova arhitektura, aspekti te kako se smanjuje opterećenje cestovnog prometa i što podrazumijeva tehnologija inteligentnih transportnih sustava. Nakon toga dat će se slika važnosti ITS-a za europsko područje. Posljednji dio stavit će naglasak na integraciju inteligentnih transportnih sustava u Hrvatskoj i Europskoj uniji, tj. ukazat će se na razvoj ITS-a u skladu s razvojem prometa.
Abstract (english)
Intelligent transport systems is interesting, but also complex subject to study. The mentioned was the subject of this paper. After defining the problem, the subject and the object of the research, the hypothesis was set and the purpose and the scope of research were determined. When the research material was collected, the researcher could determine which scientific methods will be used in the research. In determination of the basic characteristics of the ITS systems, first, the concept has to be determined which meant to describe the relation between traffic and transport and definig and showing the classification of ITS. After that, the accent was on the importance of ITS which meant to describe the architecture of ITS, it's aspects, resolving the overload of road traffic and what means the technology of ITS. After that, the accent was on the importance of ITS for European area. The last part was about the integration of ITS in Croatia and European union which meant describe the development of ITS that parallel with traffic development.
