Abstract
Krstarenja danas predstavljaju jednu od najpopularnijih vrsta kružnih putovanja s izrazito raznovrsnom strukturom i ponudom, a čija se rasprostranjenost bilježi po cijelome svijetu. Ovaj relativno noviji oblik turizma ima značajan utjecaj na pojedinu turističku destinaciju, koji je posebice vidljiv u njenom društvenom i gospodarskom segmentu. Osim toga ova vrsta turizma ima i značajan ekonomski, socijalni i okolišni utjecaj koji se prvenstveno očituju u prihodima pojedine destinacije, zatim zadovoljstvu lokalnog stanovništva te stupnju razvijenosti zaštite okoliša. U sklopu ovog istraživačkog rada analiziran je grad Split, te utjecaj krstarenja na njegov razvoj zbog toga što je Luka Split od nacionalnog i međunarodnog gospodarskog značaja. Kako ne postoji kruzing kompanija koja Split nije posjetila, razmatra se da Split, osim za domaće, postane homeport i za međunarodne kruzere, no potrebno je zadovoljiti određene uvjete kako bi se navedeno moglo ostvariti.
Abstract (english)
Cruises today represent one of the most popular types of circular journeys with a highly diverse structure and offering, which is widely known throughout the world. This relatively new form of tourism has a significant impact on a particular tourist destination, which is especially vigorous in its social and economic segment. In addition, this type of tourism has a significant economic, social and environmental impact, which is primarily reflected in the income of a particular destination, then the satisfaction of the local population and the degree of environmental protection. As part of this research work, the city of Split has been analyzed and also the impact of the cruise lines on its development, because Luka Split has national and international economic importance. Since there is no cruise company that did not visit Split, it is considered that Split, apart from domestic, becomes homeport of international cruise too, but it is necessary to fulfill the certain conditions so that the above can be realized.
