Abstract
Rad obrađuje probleme upravljanja morskim lukama u svijetu i u RH, kao i suvremene pristupe koji znatno utječu na upravljanje te izbor modela upravljanja. Koncentracija će biti usmjerena na modele upravljanja te na njihove značajke u lukama svijeta, ali i u morskim lukama RH s obzirom na njihovu međunarodnu važnost. Modeli su bitan segment kada je pitanje važnosti i djelovanja luka tj. razvojne mogućnosti luke i njen sam opstanak. Također, treba navesti lučku i poslovnu politiku te lučke uprave i njihovo formiranje bez kojih lučki sustav ne bi mogao dobro funkcionirati. Na kraju rada pažnja će biti usmjerena isključivo na suvremene pristupe i informacijske tehnologije koji omogućavaju rješavanje velikoga broja problema u luci, te pravilan rad luke, što dovodi do boljeg poslovanja, a samim time i razvoja luka, gradova, država te gospodarstva općenito.
Abstract (english)
The thesis has two major purposes; to analyze problems of port management in Republic of Croatia and world, and investigate effects of modern approaches on choices of port management. Main focus of thesis will be forms of management and their features in the ports of the world as well as in the seaports of the Republic of Croatia due to their international importance. Research suggest that models are important part in a matter of port functioning, it development and it existence in business world. It was concluded that port and business policy of port authority and it forming is part without which port system could not function. At the end of thesis focus will be entirely on modern approaches and information technologies which enable resolving many problems in the port, and ensure proper operation of the harbor, which will lead to better operation and thus the development of ports, cities, states and the economy in general.
