Abstract
Autonomni plovni objekti predstavljaju plovila koja ne zahtijevaju posadu, odnosno pomorce za izvršavanje različitih operacija na moru. Vrlo su vrijedni u različitim primjenama, kao što su znanstvena istraživanja, ekološke misije, vojne svrhe i različite druge operacije. Bez obzira na vrstu, odnosno kategoriju u koju se plovila bez posade uvrštavaju, sukladno kao i ostali sudionici pomorskog prometa, i plovila bez posade imaju obvezu pridržavati se svih pravila i propisa. Autonomni plovni objekti postaju sve više prihvaćeni u pomorstvu. Omogućavaju bolju iskorištenost resursa koji su uloženi u razvoj plovila, obzirom da nude mogućnost istraživanja prostora i situacija koje su možebitno opasne i nedostupne. Moguće je upravljati njima i na daljinu. Tehnologija daljinskog upravljanja stavlja plovila bez posade u posebnu kategoriju plovila, s vrlo velikim planovima za budućnost i daljnji razvoj.
Abstract (english)
Unmanned surface vehicles are we vehicles that does not require human factor in order to operate on sea. Unmanned surface vehicles are very valuable in different applications and operations at sea, such as scientific research, environmental missions, military purposes and many other different operations. Regardless the category of the vehicles, just like any other marine vehicle on sea, unmanned surface vehicles are required to operate according to international rules and regulations. Autonomous surface vehicles are getting more accepted in maritime industry. These vehicles allow better resource utilization, that are invested in development of such vehicles, because they offer a possibility of researching areas and situations that are dangerous or not available for human research. It is possible to navigate and operate unmanned surface vehicles remotely. The remote-control technology puts unmanned vessels in a special category of vessels, with enviable plans for future and further development.
