Abstract
Luka Rijeka svrstana je u luke od osobitog međunarodnog, gospodarskog značaja za Republiku Hrvatsku te uživa status luke otvorene za međunarodni javni promet. Za strateški razvoj luke, Rijeka Gateway Projekt je najvažniji i najveći projekt u posljednjih 20-ak godina. Njegov cilj je osim modernizacije, rasta i razvoja luke, doprinošenje konkurentnosti gospodarstva Republike Hrvatske putem putničkog i teretnog prometa i modernizacija veza između luke i cestovnih i željezničkih pravaca. Najvažnija komponenta Rijeka Gateway Projekta je projekt Kontejnerski terminal Zagrebačko pristanište. Najvažniji segmenti tog projekta su izgradnja terminala, pronalazak koncesionara, izgradnja prometnice DC403 i modernizacija željezničke infrastrukture.
Abstract (english)
Port of Rijeka is listed in ports of particular international importance for the Republic of Croatia and enjoys the status of a port open for international public transport. For the strategic development of the port, the Rijeka Gateway Project is the most important and largest project in the last 20 years. Apart from the modernization, growth and development of the port, its aim is to contribute to the competitiveness of the Croatian economy through passenger and cargo traffic and modernize the connections between port and road and rail routes. The most important component of the Rijeka Gateway Project is the Container Terminal Zagreb Pier. The most important segments of this project are the construction of the terminal, the finding of concessionaires, the construction of the DC403 roadway and the modernization of the railway infrastructure.
