Abstract
Razvojem tehnologije i povećanjem prometa u svijetu, dolazi sve veća potreba za izgradnjom boljih i kvalitetnijih prometnica koje će bolje odgovarati potrebama današnjeg stanovništva. Dosadašnje prometnice nemaju dovoljan kapacitet niti su dovoljno razvijene kako bi dobro opsluživale. Integracijom inteligentnih transportnih sustava i izgradnjom novih prometnica uvelike se olakšava današnje korištenje cestovnog prometa. Inteligentni transportni sustavi su vrlo komplicirani sustavi koji se sastoje od više komponenata. Osmišljeni su kako bi se olakšao prijevoz ljudi i industrijske robe na željene destinacije. Godine istraživanja i prikupljanja podataka su pridonijele današnjoj uspješnosti ITS (Inteligentnog transportnog sustava). Glavne stavke koje danas umanjuju korištenje prometnog puta su prvenstveno zagušenost i sama nerazvijenost prometnica. U ovome radu će se analizirati uspješnost i efikasnost inteligentnih transportnih sustava pomoću SWOT analize, te pobliže objasniti sama implementacija u prometni sustav. Koristit će se razni primjeri iz Hrvatske i svijeta te će se, također, međusobno uspoređivati kako bi se otkrio stupanj razvijenosti i uspješnosti u određenim područjima svijeta.
Abstract (english)
With the development of technology and an increase in the world’s traffic, there is also a bigger need for building better and higher quality roads which will entirely suit the needs of today’s population. Previously built roads neither have enough capacity nor the sufficient development to serve well. The integration of intelligent transport systems and the construction of new roads greatly facilitates today’s use of road traffic. Intelligent transport systems are very complicated, and they consist of multiple components. They are designed to ease the transportation of people and goods. The research and data collected throughout the years contributed to today’s performance of ITS (Intelligent Transport System). The main reasons for the reduced usage of traffic routes are primarily congestion and the underdevelopment of the roads themselves. This paper will analyze the performance and efficiency of intelligent transport systems for example with SWOT analysis and explain the II implementation of transport systems in detail. Various examples from Croatia and the rest of the world will be used and compared amongst each other in order to determine the degree of development and success in certain areas of the world.
