Abstract
Svrha ovog rada je istaknuti značenje telematike u današnje doba te njenu potrebu. Sve više se javlja potreba provjere i sigurnosti na radnom mjestu, pogotovo kada se radi o prometu. Ta provjera je većim dijelom radi zaštite ljudi, transporta i dobara koje se prevoze. Radom se ukazuje na značenje telematskih sustava kojima se prati radno vrijeme, odmori i druge povezane aktivnosti, a ujedno olakšava praćenje terete i vozača. Telematski sustavi se mogu podijeliti u nekoliko kategorija, a svaka od tih kategorija je zadužena da određeni dijelovi koji prate vozilo rade kako treba.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this paper work is to ephasise the meaning of telematics in modern times and its need. It's more often that you need verification and security at the work place, especially when it comes to trafficing issues. That verification is more often used to protect people, transport and transported goods This work shows meaning of telematic systems in monitoring working time, breaks and others related activities, and also simplifies cargo and driver tracking. Telematic systems can be devided in several different categories, and each one of them is in charge that certain parts work properly in vehicle tracking.
