Abstract
Magnetizam je pojava koju svakodnevno primjećujemo kao privlačnu ili odbojnu silu između magneta i feromagnetskih materijala. Magnetizam se smatra jednom od tri osnovne sile koje pronalazimo u prirodi (elektromagnetska sila, gravitacijska sila i nuklearna sila). Promjenjivi brodski magnetizam se inducira u mekom željezu koje se nalazi na brodu te se njegov intenzitet mijenja u ovisnosti o vremenu i prilikom svake promjene smjera plovidbe, geografskih područja plovidbe i geografskih širina ,a koji uzrokuju otklon ruže magnetskog kompasa odnosno devijaciju (δ). Otklanjanje utjecaja odnosno kompenzacija promjenjivog brodskog magnetizma vrši se postavljanjem određenih mekih željeznih masa na brod koje moraju biti istog porijekla kao i promatrani dio brodskog magnetskog polja. Odabir ove teme završnoga rada proizlazi iz težnje za shvaćanjem utjecaja djelovanja magnetizma na brod prilikom plovidbe i navigacije te načina smanjivanja njegovog utjecaja. U ovom radu će se obraditi utjecaj i karakteristike promjenjivog magnetizma na brodu.
Abstract (english)
Magnetism is a phenomenon that we see on a daily basis as an attractive or repulsive force between magnets and ferromagnetic materials and is considered one of the three basic forces found in nature (electromagnetic force, gravitational force and nuclear force). Induced ship magnetism is induced in the soft iron on board and its intensity varies with time and with each change of navigational direction, geographical areas of navigation and latitudes that cause the magnetic compass rose to deviate (δ). The elimination of the influence or compensation of induced ship magnetism is done by placing certain soft iron masses on the ship, which must be of the same origin as the observed part of the ship's magnetic field. The choice of this theme of the final thesis stems from the desire to understand the effect of magnetism on the ship during sailing and navigation and how to reduce its effect. The influence and characteristics of induced magnetism on board will be elaborated in this paper.
