Abstract
U ovome radu analiziramo uporabu širokopojasne komunikacije u pomorstvu. Opisan je povijesni razvoj, problemi današnjice i korištenje novih tehnologija u području širokopojasne komunikacije. Prikazano je i korištenje VSAT tehnologije. Te kroz globalnu vodeću kompaniju na području satelitske telekomunikacije Inmarsat implementaciju, korištenje, zahtjeve i nove inovacije s područja satelitske komunikacije.
Abstract (english)
In this work, we analyze the use of broadband communication in the maritime industry. The historical development, problems of today and the use of new technologies in the field of broadband communication are described. The use of VSAT technology is also presented. And through the global leading satellite telecommunication company Inmarsat implementation, use, requirements and new innovations in satellite communications.
