This thesis deals with the logistics flows through which the reverse logistics process takes place, how packaging that has not only a logistics function affects the logistics processes, what the packaging functions are and how they operate, the reverse logistics and the reverse logistics chains are elaborated. Also, the paper deals with the logistics and supply chains as well as the modern approach that is extremely important for production. In order to have quality, backward logistics flows, it is important to implement appropriate segregation of backward logistics processes. Certainly it is necessary to take into account the way of implementation of return logistics flows in classic distribution flows, to monitor their compatibility and to create the concept of a return logistics network, that is, a logistics network into which a return logistics network is integrated. Internal and external factors determine the return logistics and are common topics of scientific research, some of which are attached to the theoretical approach and other to practice.
