Abstract
Potreba za naftom i plinom u svijetu raste velikom brzinom i čini značajan dio slike gospodarske moći države. Zbog ovisnosti o tim resursima naftne kompanije počinju se okretati morima, gdje se nalaze najveće zalihe nafte i zemnog plina. Istraživanje i vađenje tih resursa iz podmorja je veoma zahtjevno, kompleksno i skupo, ali također smanjuje troškove potrebne pri izgradnji dodatne infrastrukture koje iziskuje uvoz, što direktno utječe na efikasnije iskorištavanje morskog prostora. Uži predmet mog istraživanja, odnosno tema rada, bila je opisati i kritički sagledati različite metode istraživanja naftnih i plinskih polja u podmorju Jadrana, tj. istražiti koristi koje nam one pružaju. Jedno od glavnih pitanja jest kakvi bi se rezultati time u konačnici mogli postići uzevši u obzir i rizike zagađenja Jadrana i ugrožavanja turizma. Koliki su ti rizici te je li adekvatna naplata eksploatiranja uz strogu i odgovarajuću kontrolu struke i državnih organa doista moguća, jedan je od ključnih problema analiziranih u radu.
Abstract (english)
The need for oil and gas grows rapidly in the world, sothe possession of it represents a significant part of the economic power of a country. Due to the dependence on these resources, the oil companies began to exploit the seas, where one could find the largest reserves of oil and natural gas. The exploration and extraction of these resources from the seabed is very demanding and complex, but, on the oter hand, reduces the need of building additional infrastructure and avoids dealing with import’s extra cost. This directly affects the efficacy of usage of the marine space. The research topic of this work was to describe and critically assess different methods of exploration of the oil and gas fields in particular in the Adriatic sea, i.e. to explore the benefits that they provide us. One of the main questions is: what would be the results for the economy but, also, the risks of pollution of the Adriatic and endangering tourism. How big are these risks, and whether adequate charging of exploitation, including the strict and proper control of professional services and state authorities, would solve this problem, is one of the key issues analyzed in the work.
