Abstract
Ovaj završni rad sastavljen je od sedam poglavlja koja obuhvaćaju zadanu temu "Održavanje brodskih sustava". U prva tri poglavlja govori se o razvoju održavanja kroz povijest te se definiraju i obrađuju osnovni i važni pojmovi. U četvrtom poglavlju definira se pojam kvara u svrhu lakšeg razumijevanja teme. U petom poglavlju definiraju se i detaljno objašnjavaju osnovni i suvremeni pristupi održavanju broda, dok u se u šestom poglavlju obrađuju metode održavanja. U sedmom poglavlju nalazi se vrlo bitan pojam − korozija, vrste korozije te načini njezina sprečavanja. U radu su istaknute prednosti i važnosti održavanja i mnogobrojne metode i načini njegovog provođenja te negativne i brojne posljedice do kojih dolazi zbog nedovoljnog ili nepravilnog održavanja. Cilj ovog rada je istaknuti važnost održavanja broda zbog sigurnosti samog broda, posade, tereta, okoliša te zbog smanjenja troškova i duljeg životnog vijeka broda.
Abstract (english)
This final paper is composed of seven chapters covering the default topic “Ship Maintenance”. The first three chapters discuss the development of maintenance throughout history and define and deal with basic and important concepts. The fourth chapter defines the concept of failure for the purpose of easier understanding of the topic. The fifth chapter defines and explains in detail the basic and modern approaches to ship maintenance, while Chapter six deals with maintenance methods. Just before the end, in the seventh chapter, there is a very important concept - corrosion, types of corrosion and ways to prevent it. The paper highlights the advantages and importance of maintenance and the many methods and ways of its implementation, as well as the negative and numerous consequences that occur due to insufficient or improper maintenance. The aim of this paper is to emphasize the importance of ship maintenance for the safety of the ship, crew, cargo, environment and to reduce costs and longer life of the ship.
