Abstract
Jedan od glavnih ciljeva upravljanja dobavnim lancima je sniziti troškove koji se u njemu pojavljuju. Kako bi postigli veću efikasnost i konkurentnost moramo primijeniti nove trendove u upravljanju dobavnim lancem, a oni uključuju kompleksan pristup načinu poslovanja kroz primjenu informacijske tehnologije. Potencijal nove IT tehnologije može znatno poboljšati performanse dobavnog lanca. Zahvaljujući razvitku telekomunikacija, sve češće se provodi povezivanje ili umrežavanje informacijskih sustava ili baza podataka više različitih poduzeća, koji su u poslovnom odnosu. Internet je pomogao u brisanju zemljopisnih granica povezujući sve one koji imaju pristup. Inovacija predstavlja poboljšanje, uvođenje novog načina poslovanja, primjenu novih tehničkih i tehnoloških rješenja. Dobivene spoznaje temelje se na analizi poslovnih primjera u globalnim kompanijama Toyota i Amazon.
Abstract (english)
One of the main objectives of managing the supply chain is to lower costs that appear in it. In order to achieve greater efficiency and competitiveness, we must apply the new trends in the management of supply chain, and they involve a complex approach for the business through the application of information technology. The potential of new IT technology can significantly improve the performance of the supply chain. Thanks to the development of telecommunications, are increasingly being carried out connection or networking of information systems or databases of different companies, which have a business relationship. The Internet has helped to erase geographical boundaries linking all those who have access. The innovation is an improvement, the introduction of a new way of doing business, the application of new technical and technological solutions. The findings resulting are based on analysis of examples of global companies Toyota and Amazon.
