Abstract
U pomorskom prometu događaju se mnogobrojne nezgode, poput nasukanja, sudara, požara/eksplozija, prodora mora, kvarova na brodskim sustavima ili opremi i slično, a koje rezultiraju različitim posljedicama od kojih su neke katastrofalne. Posljedice pomorskih nezgoda na određeni način pogađaju sve sudionike pomorskog prometa, ali i okoliš te je stoga nužno osigurati da se takvi događaji ne ponavljaju. Jedan od glavnih instrumenata u tom procesu su istraživanja koja se provode nakon nastalih pomorskih nezgoda jer su u izvješćima koja su rezultat tih istraživanja detaljno obrađene sve okolnosti povezane s pomorskom nezgodom i precizno definirane sigurnosne preporuke koje bi se trebale implementirati kako bi se smanjio rizik ponovnog nastanka takvih nezgoda. Stoga je kroz analizu statistike provedenih istraga pomorskih nezgoda koje su se dogodile na svjetskoj razini i na području Republike Hrvatske prikazana važnost istraživanja pomorskih nezgoda u smanjenu rizika njihova nastanka
Abstract (english)
There are many casualties in maritime transport, such as stranding, collisions, fires/explosions, flooding, failures of ship systems or equipment, etc., which result in various consequences, some of which are catastrophic. The consequences of marine casualties in a certain way affect all participants in maritime transport, but also the environment, and it is therefore necessary to ensure that such events do not recur. One of the main instruments in this process is the investigation after marine casualty, because the reports resulting from these investigations detail all the circumstances related to the marine casualty and precisely define safety recommendations that should be implemented to reduce the risk of recurrence such casualties. Therefore, through the analysis of statistics of conducted investigations of marine casualties that occurred worldwide and on the territory of the Republic of Croatia, the importance of investigation of marine accidents in reducing the risk of their occurrence is shown.
