Abstract
Adekvatna infrastruktura važan je čimbenik razvoja morskih luka. Bez nje, nemoguće je zamisliti rast i razvoj morskih luka i njezin napredak. Osim lučke infrastrukture bitan čimbenik za razvoj luka je svakako i odgovarajuća prometna razvijenost i cestovna povezanost sa zaleđem, te postojanje adekvatne željezničke mreže i infrastrukture. Gledajući ove postavljene zahtjeve može se reći da je Republika Hrvatska suočena s problemom nerazvijene infrastrukture i prometne povezanosti što hrvatskim lukama donosi stagnaciju prometa. Razlog tome je manjak ulaganja u infrastrukturu i nepostojanje sredstava. Ulaskom u Europsku uniju, Republika Hrvatska može iskoristiti fondove i sredstva financiranja koja joj se nude. Ulaganjem u infrastrukturu hrvatske luke mogle bi postati konkurentne luke ostalim lukama na sjeverno jadranskoj ruti i povećati ukupan promet.
Abstract (english)
Adequate infrastructure is an important factor of development of seaports. Without it, it is impossible to imagine the growth and development of seaports and its progress. An essential factor for the development of ports is certainly adequate transport development and road links with the hinterland, and the existence of adequate railway network and infrastructure. Looking at these specified requirements, Croatia is faced with the problem of undeveloped infrastructure and transport connections which brings stagnation of traffic in Croatian ports. The reason for this is the lack of investment and funds. By joining the European Union, the Republic of Croatia can use funds and means of financing. By investing in the infrastructure, Croatian ports can be more competitive port to the other ports in the north Adriatic route and increase turnover.
