Abstract
Lučki terminali su važna komponenta cjelokupnog transporta suhih rasutih tereta. Ugljen, željezna ruda, fosfati i žitarice, čine najzastupljenije suhe rasute terete u pomorskom prometu. Svrha ovoga završnog rada je analizirati tehničko - tehnološke značajke terminala za prekrcaj suhih rasutih tereta, pomorski promet ovih skupina tereta te napraviti usporednu analizu tehničko - tehnoloških značajki dviju luka, luke Ploče i Luke Rotterdam. Cilj rada je utvrditi prednosti i nedostatke ovih luka, a koji u najvećoj mjeri utječu na njihovu konkurentnost i značaj koji imaju u okviru svojih država, ali i na svjetskoj razini.
Abstract (english)
Port terminals are an important component of the overall transport of dry bulk cargo. Coal, iron ore, phosphates and grain are the most represented dry bulk cargoes in maritime transport. The purpose of this final paper is to analyze the technical - technological features of the dry bulk terminals, the maritime transport of these cargo groups, and to make a comparative analysis of the technical - technological features of the two ports, the Port of Ploče and the Port of Rotterdam. The aim of the work is to determine the advantages and disadvantages of these ports, which to the greatest extent influence their competitiveness and the importance they have within their countries, but also worldwide.
