Abstract
Nautical tourism is one of the biggest types of tourism in the world and it has big role in economic development of many countries. European Union with its 28 member states has great foundation for leadership in this type of tourism. Every country has potential for individual growth based on its geographical position and a lot of other factors. Marina industry is the most important part of nautical tourism and it is necessary to analyze it in order to define the development of nautical tourism.... More Still, charter and cruise industry are growing industries and are therefore having important role in future development of nautical tourism in the EU. There are already some strategies and guidelines for development but more measures need to be conducted on the level of the European Union to reach the full potential in the development of nautical tourism in the European Union.
