Abstract
Današnji brodovi vode velik broj knjiga tijekom plovidbe. Neke od tih knjiga su dnevnik stroja (''Engineroom Log – Book''), zdravstveni dnevnik (''Health Book''), knjiga ulja (''Oil Record Book''), knjiga tereta (''Cargo Record Book'') i brojne druge. Najvažnija od svih brodskih knjiga je brodski dnevnik (''Log – Book'').U brodski dnevnik se unose brojni podaci poput kursa, pozicije broda, stanja mora i slične informacije bitne za navigaciju. Brodski dnevnik vode časnici u straži, a ovjerava ga zapovjednik. Za pregled brodskog dnevnika je zadužena lučka kapetanija. Brodski dnevnik je pravni dokument stoga sve stranice moraju biti povezane kako bi se spriječile ikakve moguće manipulacije podacima. Brodski dnevnik je izrazito bitan dokaz na sudovima u slučaju mogućih novonastalih sporova.
Abstract (english)
Ships nowdays keep a number of books while navigating. Some of these books include Engineroom Log – Book, Health Book, Oil Record Book, Cargo Record Book and many others.Most important of all books is the Log – Book. Many data are written into the Log – Book such as course, ship position, sea conditions and many other information important for navigation. Log Book is written in by the Officer on the watch, and verified by the Master. Port authority is in charge for reviewing of the Log – Book.The Log – Book is a legal document hence all the pages must be linked together to prevent possible data manipulation.Log – Book is meaningly important proof of evidence in court in case of possible newly established lawsuit.
