The Republic of Croatia is a class example of a coastal and maritime country orientated towards heritage valorization of the Adratic Sea, its islands and broad coast. Different economic activities like maritime transport , shipbuilding , fishing, nautical tourism, activities both on sea and its coast, represent a huge potential for possible economic growth of the country, and leads to the conclusion that the state should concentrate more on the maintenance of maritime goods. Current and incomplete state of legal regulation is the reason behind ineffective use of these valuable goods. In this thesis the emphasis is set on the awarded concessions on maritime goods with an overview of its prime definition, classification of concessions for the economic use of the mentioned. Important features and factors will be determined in the process of obtaining concessions on maritime goods, as well as the legal boundaries of the named process. The thesis bings a list of all necessary criteria for selecting the best given offers for concessions, and how is the charge for the obtained concession calculated. In this thesis real, on-set examples of concession awarding will be analyzed, focusing on the issue of construction and utilization of beach resources, with analysis documenting the number of awarded concessions and funding obtained from the maritime good of PGŽ.
