Abstract
U skladu s globalnim trendovima i učestalim promjenama u gotovo svim područjima ljudske djelatnosti, dolazi i do promjena koncepata stjecanja osnovnih znanja, a samim time i kompetencija potrebnih za učinkovito djelovanje. Stjecanje je znanja na nacionalnoj razini regulirano obrazovnim sustavom kojim započinje osposobljavanje pojedinca za obavljanje određene djelatnosti i aktivno sudjelovanje u društvu. Osnovna je svrha koncepta cjeloživotnog učenja povećanje učinkovitosti pojedinca unutar društvenih procesa u smislu jačanja konkurentnosti te kvalitetnijih znanja, sposobnosti i vještina. Profesija je pomoraca usko povezana uz tehnologiju, stoga ubrzani tehnološki razvoj posljednjih godina još više zahtijeva stručno usavršavanje, usvajanje novih sadržaja te prilagođavanje drugačijim uvjetima rada. U radu je prikazana implementacija koncepta cjeloživotnog učenja u pomorstvu s naglaskom na postojećem pomorskom obrazovnom sustavu, posebnim programima obrazovanja pomoraca i načinima izobrazbe povezanima s međunarodnim konvencijama, direktivama i pravilnicima.
Abstract (english)
In line with global trends and frequent changes in almost all areas of human activity and changes in the concepts of acquiring basic knowledge, the competences needed for effective action are also changing. Acquiring knowledge at the national level is regulated by an educational system that starts training an individual to perform a particular activity and active participation in society. The main purpose of the concept of lifelong learning is to increase the efficiency of an individual within social processes in terms of enhancing competitiveness and better knowledge. The seafarer's profession is closely related to technology, so the accelerated technological development in recent years requires even more professional training, adoption of new content and adaptation to different working conditions. This paper presents the implementation of the concept of lifelong learning in maritime affairs with an emphasis on the existing maritime education system, the special programs of seafaring education and training methods associated with international conventions, directives and regulations.
