Abstract
Unatoĉ raspravama koje traju gotovo dva desetljeća, upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima, svojim intelektualnim granicama i primjenom u praksi, se može definirati kao aktivnost koja koordinira ljude i procese kako bi se ostvarili određeni ciljevi. Iako je relativno lako nabrojati aktivnosti koje ĉine upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima, to je tema koja potiĉe mnoge rasprave i neslaganja. Sposobnost poduzeća da raste i da ostane na vrhu je oduvijek ovisila o kvaliteti njegovih ljudi. U skladu sa navedenom ĉinjenicom, diplomski rad obrađuje temu razvoja karijera zaposlenika u poduzećima. Kroz navedeni primjer može se vidjeti kako ljudski potencijali i razvoj ljudskih potencijala izgleda u realnom životu, odnosno u praksi. Zaposlenici predstavljaju najvažniji intelektualni kapital svakog poslovnog sustava. U uvjetima globalizacije, poduzećima je, više nego ikada, potrebna vješta i motivirana ljudska snaga koja je kljuĉna za uspjeh poduzeća.

Despite discussions that lasted almost two decades, human resources management, its intellectual boundaries and application in practice, can be defined as an activity that coordinate people and processes in order to achieve certain goals. While it is relatively easy to list the activities that make up the human resources management, it is a topic that stimulates much debate and disagreement. The ability of companies to grow and to stay on top is always dependent on the quality of its people. In accordance with this fact, graduate work deals with the career development of employees in enterprises. Through the above example can be seen as human resources and human resource development looks in real life, or in practice. Employees are the most important intellectual capital of any business system. In the conditions of globalization, enterprises, more than ever, need skilled and motivated manpower is crucial to the success of the company.
