Abstract (croatian)	Prometna gužva u cestovnom prometu postaje sve veći problem u gradovima diljem Hrvatske te utječe na nepotrebno povećanje potrošnje goriva te zagađenje okoliša ispušnim plinovima. Kako bi građani pomogli većoj energetskoj učinkovitosti i smanjenju štetnih emisija, mogu koristiti metode prijevoza koje manje utječu na okoliš te primjenjivati mjere definirane Nacionalnim akcijskim planom energetske učinkovitosti. U ovom radu analizirano je devet predloženih mjera za postizanje energetskih ušteda u cestovnom prometu Hrvatske. Za svaku od predloženih mjera izrađena je prognoza učinkovitosti i uštede energije u cestovnom prometu. Na temelju provedenog istraživanja mjera, ograničenje brzine kretanja vozila nameće se kao najpovoljnija i najbrža mjera za postizanje energetskih ušteda i smanjenje emisije CO2 dok se kao dugoročno najučinkovitije mjere smatraju uvođenje inteligentnog sustava upravljanja prometom te razvoj infrastrukture za alternativna goriva.
