Abstract
Završni rad dotiče se različitih stavki zelenog brodarstva, od izvora onečišćenja, do načina kako se boriti sa sve većim ekološkim problemima u svijetu. Pomorski je promet iznimno važan za razvitak globalnog tržišta i razvoj čovječanstva. Uz to, more je jedno od najvećih bogatstva ovoga svijeta te je iznimno važno učini sve što je moguće kako bi se očuvao morski okoliš. Posljednjih godina sve se više istražuju onečišćenja koja stvara pomorski promet te se donose različiti zakoni kako bi se u što bržem roku suzbile posljedice onečišćenja. Europska unija u suradnji s ostalim državama svijeta radi na donošenju propisa vezanih za zeleno brodarstvo koji uvelike pomažu u borbi s klimatskim promjenama. Također, potrebno je osvrnuti se na ekonomski aspekt zelenog brodarstva zbog količine ulaganja koje je potrebno za postizanje ekoloških ciljeva.
Abstract (english)
The final thesis deals with various aspects of green shipping, from the causes of pollution, to combatting the ever growing global ecological issues. The ovrseas trade is of cruical importance for the development of a global trade and the evolution of humankind. Furthermore, the sea is one of the biggest treasures of this world, thus it is extremely important to do everything in our power to preserve it. In recent years more and more studies regarding the polluting effects of overseas shipping are being carried out in order to minimise its polluting effects as soon as practicable. The European Union is working with other countries on the creation of regulations regarding green shipping that will help greatly in the fight against climate change. Also, it is necessary to look at the economic aspect of green shipping due to the amount of investment required to achieve environmental goals.
