Abstract Svrha istraživanja doktorske disertacije pod naslovom: „Model vrednovanja utjecaja lučkih terminala za ukapljene prirodne plinove na morski okoliš“ jeste definirati kriterije vrednovanja mogućih utjecaja terminala za ukapljene prirodne plinove na morski okoliš. U ovoj doktorskoj disertaciji je postavljen cilj istraživanja koji u odnosu na postavljeni problem, za danu metodologiju, zahtijeva uporabu višekriterijske analize, gdje je naglašen sustavni pristup analizi vrednovanja utjecaja terminala za ukapljene prirodne plinove na morski okoliš. Danom metodologijom, tj. sustavnom analizom omogućena je izrada modela kojim se prati utjecaj pojedinih kriterija na morski okoliš. U tu svrhu su definirani predeliminacijski kriteriji kako bi se smanjilo promatrano područje iz kojeg su odabrane reprezentativne lokacije na kojima su vrednovani prethodno definirani kriteriji. Definirani problemi su rješavani metodama: geografskim informacijskim sustavom, višekriterijskom analizom, ekspertnim odlučivanjem, te primjenom matematičkog modela i regionalnog modela morskog sustava, kao i GIS alatom. Uporabom GIS-a (Geographic Information System/geografskog informacijskog sustava) omogućeno je smanjivanje cjelokupnog promatranog područja na manja područja iz kojih je višekriterijskom ekspertnom analizom izdvojeno nekoliko reprezentativnih lokacija na kojima je uz definirane kriterije, primjenjena višekriterijska metoda PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organisation Method of Enrichmen Evaluation) uz uporabu metode GAIA (Geometrical Analysis for Interactive Aid) za vizualizaciju karakteristika problema geometrijskom interpretacijom. Prezentiranje rezultata višekriterijske analize elaborirano je verbalnom i grafičkom interpretacijom dobivenih rangova. Na taj način, na odabranoj „optimalnoj“ lokaciji praćen je utjecaj na morski okoliš jednog parametra (promjena temperature mora), koristeći prilagođeni ROMS model (Regional Ocean Model System). Primjena navedene metodologije provedena je na konkretnim područjima Jadranskog mora Republike Hrvatske s mogućnosti primjene iste na bilo koju lokaciju morskog okoliša. Primjena navedene metodologije omogućava praćenje određenih utjecaja na morski okoliš.
Abstract (english) The purpose of the PhD thesis research entitled: “Evaluation model of the impact of LNG terminals on marine environment“ is to define the criteria for assessing the potential impacts of the terminal for liquefied natural gas in the marine environment. The aim of this thesis is to find a multicriteria analysis in relation of the problem, for a given methodology, where systematic approach to the evaluation of the influence of the terminals for liquefied natural gas on the marine environment is emphasized. Presented methodology, ie systematic analysis, has enabled development of model that monitors the impact of certain criteria on the marine environment. For this purpose, pre-selection criteria were defined to reduce the observed area from which representative locatins were selected on which the previously defined criteria were evaluated. Defined problems were solved by methods:, multi-criteria analysis, expert decision-making, and application of the mathematical model and regional model of the marine system as well geographic information system (GIS) tool. Using of GIS (Geographic Information System) was enabled to reduction of the entire observed area to smaller areas from which multicriteria expert analysis separated several representative locations where the criteria are defined, applying the multicriteria method PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organisation Method of Enrichmen Evaluation) using the GAIA (Geometrical Analysis for Interactive Aid) method to visualize the problem characteristics by geometrical interpretation. Presentation of multi-criteria analysis results are elaborated by the verbal and graphical interpretation of obtained rankings. In this way, the "optimum" location was monitored by the impact on the marine environment of one parameter (sea temperature change), using adjusted ROMS model (Regional Ocean Model System). The application of this methodology was carried out in concrete areas of the Adriatic Sea of the Republic of Croatia with the possibility of applying it to any location of the marine environment. The application of this methodology enables monitoring of certain impacts on the marine environment.
