Abstract
Današnja dinamika kretanja tržišta nalaže svakom onom poslovnom subjektu koji želi, ne samo opstati na tržištu, već i uspješno poslovati angažiranje svih raspoloživih sredstava u svrhu donošenja ispravne odluke u datom momentu. Proces odlučivanja je, tako, ključ uspjeha, a on nužno uključuje i proces predviđanja o kojemu je riječ u ovom radu. Predviđanje je, dakle, proces koji podrazumijeva analizu tržišta, prikupljanje informacija, prepoznavanje varijabli i njihovih odnosa te vremenski odmak istih obzirom na zadani cilj poslovanja. Ono je neizostavan dio procesa odlučivanja koje omogućuje korištenje minimuma resursa za postizanje maksimuma profita. Ono je glavna poluga u upravljanju poslovnim subjektom te ključno za ostvarenje uspješnosti.
Abstract (english)
Today's market dynamics require every business entity that wants not only to survive on the market, but also to do business successfully, to engage all available resources in order to make the right decision at a given moment. The decision-making process is thus the key to success, and it necessarily includes the forecasting process that is discussed in this paper. Therefore, forecasting is a process that includes market analysis, information gathering, recognition of variables and their relationships and their time lag with regard to the given goal of the business. It is an indispensable part of the decision-making process that enables the use of minimum resources to achieve maximum profit. It is the main lever in the management of a business entity and is key to achieving success.
