Abstract
Tema završnog rada je zaštita neophodnih sustava za normalan rad na brodovima za ukapljene prirodne plinove uslijed većeg protoka tereta i para tereta te ostalih hitnih slučajeva poput požara, prodora vode i slično. Najvažniji dio je dovođenje sustava za rukovanje tereta u sigurno stanje. Sustav hitnog isključenja je zahtjev IMO (International Maritime Organization) koda za prijevoz ukapljenih prirodnih plinova i preporuka je SIGTTO-a (The Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators). Svi članovi posade moraju biti upoznati s lokacijama i načinima aktiviranja i testiranja sustava hitnog isključenja koji su specifični za njihov brod. Sustav za hitno isključenje može se aktivirati lokalno i automatski, a on zatvara sve ventile na palubi, manifoldu, glavni ventil prema strojarnici i isključuje teretne pumpe i kompresore te odspaja prekrcajne ruke.
Abstract (english)
The topic of the final thesis is the protection of the necessary systems for normal operation on ships for liquefied natural gas due to the increased flow of cargo and cargo vapors and other emergencies such as fire, water breakthrough and similarly. The most important part is to bring the cargo handling system to a safe state. The emergency shutdown system is a requirement of the IMO (International Maritime Organization) code for the transport of liquefied natural gas and is a recommendation of SIGTTO (The Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators). All crew members must be familiar with the locations and methods of activation and testing of emergency shutdown systems specific to their ship. The emergency shutdown system can be activated locally and automatically, and it closes all valves on the deck, manifold, main valve to the engine room and switches off the cargo pumps and compressors and disconnects the loading arms.
