Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada je brodski vijak, odnosno nuspojave kavitacije propelera, vibracija, tlaka na njegovim krilima te šum, odnosno buka nastala njegovom vrtnjom. Te pojave dobivaju sve više na važnosti prilikom izrade komercijalnih brodova iz različitih razloga. Vrijednost tlaka na krilima brodskog vijka kao i intenzitet vibracija značajno utječu na udobnost putnika i posade pa je njihovo svođenje na minimum posebice važno na brodovima za prijevoz putnika. Što se tiče podvodne buke, u zadnjih desetak godina, zbog zabrinutosti radi povećane buke, odnosno šuma u oceanima počelo se raditi na smanjenju istog na gotovo svim komercijalnim brodovima, dok je prije to bila praksa isključivo na ratnim brodovima. Brodski vijci u radu predstavljaju jedan od glavnih proizvođača podvodnog šuma koji se emitira s brodova. Zbog složenosti samog nastanka šuma treba istražiti svaki faktor zasebno, kako bi se utvrdili uzroci njegova nastanka i bolje razumio problem.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this final paper is marine propeller, i.e. side effects of propeller cavitation, vibrations, pressure pulses and radiated noise caused by its spinning. These effects are gaining more importance for commercial ships for various reasons. Vibrations and pressure pulses significantly affect comfort on board, thus their reduction is of most importance for all ships carrying passengers. As regards the underwater radiated noise, interest has shifted from navy applications to commercial ships in the last decade, due to the concern for the rising background noise in the oceans. Ship propellers in operation represent one of the main manufacturers of underwater noise emitted with the ship. Due to the complexity of the noise formation itself, each factor should be investigated separately, in order to determine the causes of its occurrence and better understand the problem.
